As we approached his second Christmas, I took little Ro to Gulliver's Kingdom, near Matlock - where he fell in love with a snowman. (Technically, that photo was taken on the 'baby camera,' as it simply isn't always practical to carry around the heavy DSLR. It still seems to capture the moment, though). As always there were several festive outfits, though this elf suit is the only one to make it onto my blog from that year.

Halloween
Having had so much fun with our first year's Halloween shoot, I felt I had to outdo myself the following year. I have mixed feelings about Halloween as an event to 'celebrate,' as there are certain aspects of it I just don't want to participate in. However, I love dressing up, and I see no harm in the 'harmless,' fun side of Halloween (and I do enjoy a bit of pumpkin carving). I was really pleased with this set, and he loves wearing this outfit.
I didn't shoot a Halloween set for his third year (although he did wear the costume to a pumpkin-carving party), but I have already got a Halloween outfit lined up for next autumn...

Wee Highland Laddie
These photos were taken in one of my favourite places in the world, in Banffshire in Scotland. We have very dear friends who live in the area, and we usually visit several times each year. (Many of the photos featured on this blog were taken Scotland, though I don't always feel the need to label them separately). This particular set, captures the wonderful scenery of Scotland, and how much the little lad loves staying there! (He loves being outdoors, and is never happier than with acres of space to run around in, or a mountain to climb - which he did all by himself).

A Walk In The Park
While not technically a themed photo shoot, this is one of my favourite photoshoots of all time, during our daily dog walk, on a particularly lovely, summer's day.
