Halloween

Having had so much fun with our first year's Halloween shoot, I felt I had to outdo myself the following year. I have mixed feelings about Halloween as an event to 'celebrate,' as there are certain aspects of it I just don't want to participate in. However, I love dressing up, and I see no harm in the 'harmless,' fun side of Halloween (and I do enjoy a bit of pumpkin carving). I was really pleased with this set, and he loves wearing this outfit.
I didn't shoot a Halloween set for his third year (although he did wear the costume to a pumpkin-carving party), but I have already got a Halloween outfit lined up for next autumn...

Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

Little Ro's first Halloween, and his first pumpkin. He loved this shoot, and although he was too young to speak at the time, he astonished me a year later by pointing to a pumpkin, and clearly saying 'pumpkin - knife - face.' He obviously remembered the experience of carving it, and what it was called. They take it all in! Don't be deceived. ;-)
I particularly loved his 'scary face' in these shots.
